The First Edition has the rare illustrated book for sale, Rudyard Kipling A Song
of the English not dated but from circa 1915, which has the National Bands speech
delivered by Rudyard Kipling at the Mansion House, London on January 27th 1915, during
the course of the First World War (also known as The Great War or The 1914-
Though this is a scarce and desirable early edition Rudyard Kipling book, this example
is in Good to Poor condition with wear and marks to the boards; broken internal hinges
(though all pages still bound-
However, all 16 plates are present and correct as per the List of Plates to the front of the book, and are in Fine condition.
Hence, this is a very good reading copy of this Rudyard Kipling book, and for the excellent W. Heath Robinson (William Heath Robinson) tipped in plates.
