In Black and White is the first UK issue published by Sampson Low, Marston, Searle and Rivington in London which is not dated but was published in 1888.
Rudyard Kipling was born on 30th December 1865 and so was just 23 years of age when In Black and White was published, making this one of the first Rudyard Kipling books to have been published.
