The original decorative red cloth is in Very Good condition with marks, fading to the spine; wear to the bottom of the spine and slight tear to the top of the cloth.
There are 282 numbered pages with two pages of advertisements to the end of the book. The pages are in overall Very Good condition with browning to the blank front free endpaper and rear endpaper; marks to some of the pages; and corner creasing to approximately 4 leaves.
This is an extremely collectable Rudyard Kipling book from the 1920s that will make a wonderful addition to any Kipling or modern first edition book collection.
