The Seven Seas first edition by Rudyard Kipling is for sale. The Seven Seas is a Rudyard Kipling first edition that was published by Methuen in 1896. The Seven Seas includes A Song of the English and Barrack-Room Ballads.


The Seven Seas original reddish brown binding has marks and fading, with the gilt lettering to the spine still present. The binding is complete and in Good condition.


The Seven Seas has 230 numbered pages with a 39 page Methuen catalogue dated October 1896 to the end of the book, top edges gilt and the remaining edges untrimmed as required. The front pastedown has a large attractive bookplate for Georg Waters.  The Seven Seas is packed with Rudyard Kipling poems that include A Song of the English and Barrack-Room Ballads.  The pages are firmly bound in and very clean making them in overall Very Good condition.
