Rudyard Kipling The Seven Seas Sixth Edition 1899

The First Edition has for sale this very collectable Rudyard Kipling book entitled The Seven Seas, which contains 52 verses and poems by the author of The Jungle Book, Stalky and Co, Kim and other great Rudyard Kipling classics. This book was published by Methuen in 1899, this being the sixth edition and issued just three years after the first edition.  Notably, this book contains A Song of the English.

The original brown boards are in Very Good condition being complete with fading,  marks, and knocks to the corners and the top and bottom of the spine.

There are 230 numbered pages with a 40 page catalogue to the end of the book dated October 1899.  The top pages are gilt with the remaining pages untrimmed.  The pages are in overall Very Good condition with only the lightest of age toning.

This is a highly desirable and collectable early Rudyard Kipling book of his works
