The Naulakha comes in its original terra cotta coloured cloth with decoration in black to the front board and back board, and with titling to the front also in black; and with gilt lettering to the spine. There are light marks and edge wear to the boards and very slight fading to the spine, otherwise the binding is amazingly fresh, attractive and in Very Good condition.
The Naulakha has 276 numbered pages with 8 pages of advertisements to the end of the book; many of these pages of advertisements are still unopened. The pages are in overall Very Good to Near Fine condition having a bookplate for WT Charlton (dated January 12th 1893), slight and light foxing to the front and rear plain endpapers; and being dusty to the top edge. The Naulakha is very attractive internally and is tightly bound, making this an extremely collectable example.
